What this tool actually changes

It keeps all frames and the timeline intact, then applies a blur pass only to one rectangular area. Internally we create a blurred copy of the selected region and overlay it back at the original coordinates. That means every other pixel remains the same as input, except where your selected region is intentionally obfuscated.

Does this remove faces completely?

This tool blurs the selected rectangle only. A strong blur is useful for privacy, but any single frame de-identification policy should also redact audio and nearby context depending on the risk model.

What if my coordinates are wrong?

You can rerun immediately with corrected X/Y/Width/Height values. The crop and blur are driven by numbers only, so precision depends on the input coordinates.

Will this affect audio?

No, audio is copied and re-encoded as AAC. The process is targeted to video pixels.

Can I blur more than one area at once?

This version supports one rectangle per run. For multiple areas, blur one region, then re-run the exported MP4 with another rectangle.
